Delicious review for DESSERT

This is my first review for my most recent ebook release, Dessert, and I am thrilled that the reviewer enjoyed it so much.

Dessert is Lily Harlem’s contribution to Ellora’s Cave’s EC for Men range – and the story is just as hot as the cover – hotter, in fact!

It’s the story of John Alan, a divorced guy who runs an incredibly successful chain of shops which sell outdoor clothes and equipment. He’s taken for dinner by a business contact who’s hoping to win his business. The destination is an incredibly exclusive restaurant called The Geisha Plate. The name and the fact it’s so difficult to get a reservation at the place intrigues John, but when he gets there he soon realises why.

The name – The Geisha Plate – is literal. Diners eat their dinner from a naked geisha girl. John’s gobsmacked by the turn of events, but his shock soon turns to arousal. His ‘plate’ is gorgeous, and John’s sex-starved state means he’s incredibly aroused by the sight before him. Knowing, however, how much trouble he could get into for behaving inappropriately – plus he’s just not that kind of guy – John keeps himself in check. That is, until his potential supplier goes home, leaving John to enjoy his dessert alone. Only, just as the dinner was unusual, the dessert is even more so and leaves John with a longing that just won’t go away. But can he sate it?

Dessert is an absolutely brilliant read. I’m a fan of Lily Harlem and her writing style, and this short story is no exception. It’s quirky, unique and highly enjoyable. There’s plenty of eroticism in the tale, and also some romance. Whether you’re male or female (bearing in mind this range is aimed at men), if you enjoy erotic romance with an unusual twist, then you should definitely check out this book.
